Alexandria Roastery

The 501 East Monroe Building, with its art-deco design, windowed frontage, and historic façade, became our new home for roasting operations in 2013. Located on the edge of Alexandria’s vibrant Del Ray neighborhood, the roasting facility is under the same roof as our Coffeebar and includes Swing’s wholesale, coffee education, and roasting departments.

Our home here represents the whole of the coffee experience and what we value as a company: an exquisite coffee bar, a staff with an educated passion for coffee, and a professional cupping lab open to the public as a resource to understand the complex flavors of coffee, as well as the supply chain that bears it out.
