Nicaragua Jinotega

This new coffee represents a long-term relationship for us with our friends at Gold Mountain Coffee Growers, a Washington DC and Nicaragua-based coffee grower and importer. Jinotega is a small town, but also the name of the wider region. Think of it more like a county. Most of these 19 producers sell their specific lots by variety or processing method (i.e. “pacamara” or “honey”). The coffees they do not sell as single varieties are blended together with a few of their neighbors to create this community blend. In the cup, we get cream, apple, and fudge.
